Dadihiye is a self help group charitable organisation, established in 1993 to cater for the disadvantaged Somali community, particularly Refugees and asylum seekers and other BME members in the local community.

What services are offered |
1. Drop- in Surgery for advice, information, counselling and advocacy on Housing, Education, Employment/unemployment, Immigration, Health, Social Services, Parenting, Carers, Racial Harassments, etc. And also assist with filling welfare forms and with telephone enquires. We also refer to specialists legal and health centres and assist to register with GPs.
2. Interpreting Services, Arrange interpreters for those who have English language barrier to the offices they need and Translate/read correspondences and information clients can’t understand into Somali Language.
3. Education & Training Scheme to Provide Skill Training and language Courses, ICT and youth course and supplementary school and after school for children, school holiday trips.
4. Events & Awareness Days to arrange Health, Social, cultural and Historical Events to combat isolations and give people to get opportunities to get together and socialise among themselves and other cultures.
5. Home Visits to organise weekly home visits/sometimes related joint visits to maintain a feel-good factor for clients that can not come the office for personal difficulties.
6. Youth Project to facilitate youth activities such as recreational and leisure, Sports training, etc, and to combat social isolations, youth crimes, drugs, anti-social behaviour and religious extremists.
7. Women’s Project to organise meetings for women group support as a traditional and religious habits that women gather together and discuss their problems separately and confidentially.
8. Mediation & Family scheme to act as mediation body to solve problems and to involve family problem and re-settlements as Somali institutions and social structure is breakdown here due to civil war in Somalia and the fundamental family value is important to our community.

The premises have no access for wheelchair users.
Parking for disabled drivers is available.
There is not a toilet available which can accommodate a wheelchair and user.
Baby changing facilities are available.
There are no facilities for deaf and hard of hearing people.
